Colour Coordinated Bookshelves

Clicking through random links on the net one day I came across pictures of bookshelves where people had arranged all the books by the colour of the spines. I think it looks really awesome, however my books are still arranged in alphabetical order because my books are boring colours. I did try this with my DVDs though, and it looks cool.

Some people have even done it with CDs (as shown in the picture below). I think you need heaps of CDs for the effect to be really great (which rules out my collection) - I want to do this to my boyfriends collection one day when he is off tinkering in the garage and see if he notices :)
